Backyard Composter

We were lucky to have a composter sitting behind our garage when we purchased our home. Until then I had not even heard of a composter. It’s a great way to make soil-enriching compost FREE right in your backyard! The first time we actually used our composter I wasn’t sure what to expect but after a few months of putting kitchen and yard waste in we received some beautiful top soil. That was the point I really believed it.

The composter we have can only hold so much yard waste and to this point we can’t quite keep ahead of the game so we are looking to pick up a second, maybe even a third composter. It’s so cool to see the quality of soil that comes from the yard waste we put in it.
