		<description>Well it really only burns if they decide to hang around too long. We did pretty much the same thing with our black lab when she was a hole digging pup. It took one or two tries, she didn&#039;t like it and stopped digging.

We never had to use it again. She never cried, just sneezed and shook her head and continued on to something else more entertaining.

So I don&#039;t think it would burn the squirrels any more that putting hot spice on your tongue. The burning goes away when you stop licking the hot spice.</description>
