I have put off pruning the shrubs, trees and other plants in our yard that need it. We have lived here for three years and it’s time I learned how to prune a bush.

It wasn’t until this morning, while going through the RSS feeds I collect on gardening, that I just stumble upon the article that put my mind in gear for pruning this year.

I am just going to put the Pruning Tips heading here. You can follow the link to Stuart’s Gardening Tips And Ideas. A great blog and knowledgeable gardener.

Pruning Tip #1 – Get yourself a good quality pair of secateurs.

Pruning Tip #2 – Know the difference between Pruning and Deadheading

Pruning Tip #3 – Understanding the concept of ‘dormancy’

Pruning Tip #4 – Pruning myths

Pruning Tip #5 – When NOT to prune

Pruning Tip #6 – When to prune certain types of plants

Our yard should look better and be healthier once I remove the unnecessary growth that is holding our yard back. Thanks to Stuart of course.
