One of my favorite plants we have in our home garden and backyard would have to be our Rhododendrons. Well the ones we have left that is.

Only one is flowering but I have high hopes for the second one to flower, maybe not this year but next year.

I can’t get over how much the blossoms look like silk when they are starting to blossom. All the petals are folded up so neat and tidy. Than after a few days to a week looking like that we get these gorgeous blossoms that have people stopping to check them out.

I am thinking that we should get a couple more Rododendrons for the back two corners of our property. Both of those spots are shaded in the morning by some much bigger trees but by about 11am and through the rest of the day they would get full sun, so it might just work.
