When I was a little kid we had a huge garden and lived on a farm. We grew pretty much everything we needed to survive the winters. I didn’t do much more than pull some weeds but didn’t really learn much.
It wasn’t until I was in my 50s before we started our own backyard garden and now we are hooked on gardening. It’s a great hobby.
I started working from home back in 2001 and have had some good times and some not so good times but one thing that really turned out great was gardening in our backyard.
I have two windows in my office, one looks at our neighbours but the other looks out into our backyard so I could see how our backyard garden is doing.
Sometimes it’s hard to work when it looks so great outside but then again my garden is also on the web as garden web sites so working in the in the garden works great for content for my garden site.
